Itachi Uchiha is a highly complex, tragic, and immensely powerful ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure) in the Naruto universe. He is the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha.

However, his life was defined by the forced choice he made to prevent a civil war: he massacred his entire clan, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke.
