Itachi Uchiha is one of the most complex and pivotal figures in the Naruto universe, known for his genius, tragic backstory, and immense power.

• Background and Clan: He was a prodigious member of the Uchiha Clan in the Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure) and the older brother of the main secondary protagonist, Sasuke Uchiha. He graduated early and quickly rose through the ninja ranks.

• The Uchiha Clan Downfall: Itachi's defining moment was carrying out the massacre of his entire clan (sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke) under orders from the village elders. He took the blame for the massacre, leaving the village and joining the rogue organization Akatsuki to prevent a civil war and protect his village and brother from the shadows. He allowed himself to be branded a villain for the greater good.
